WHERE THE LOTS COME FROM
Every lot on this site started as a room full of chairs somebody no longer needed: a hotel refreshing its ballroom, a university clearing an event hall, a convention center switching suppliers, a county surplus office emptying a warehouse. Those sets go up on government and institutional surplus auctions, and that is where we buy — whole lots, hundreds to a few thousand chairs at a time, all one model and one finish.
We bid on the sets a church, school or venue can actually use: padded banquet chairs, wire-frame and sled-base stackers, metal folders, the occasional run of conference seating. We skip the mismatched piles. When a lot is won it is counted, photographed as it sits, and listed here with the real number and the real city.
